SSI Basic Diver Program – Zakynthos

Discover scuba diving and enter a whole new world of adventure in the crystal-clear waters of Zakynthos. The SSI Basic Diver program is the perfect introduction for anyone aged 10 and above who wants to experience the thrill of breathing underwater and the unique sensation of weightlessness—no certification required.

Under the direct supervision of an SSI Professional, you will begin with a short theory session followed by confined water training in calm sea conditions. During this part, you will learn essential scuba skills such as mask clearing, regulator recovery, and the basic principles of safe diving.

Once you feel comfortable, you will continue with a guided open water dive, exploring the beautiful marine environment to a maximum depth of 12 meters.

The entire experience lasts approximately 2 hours or more and includes one open water dive, making it an ideal option for beginners looking for a safe and exciting introduction to scuba diving.

If you enjoy your experience and want to continue your underwater journey, you can upgrade to the SSI Open Water Diver course and receive credit for the skills you’ve already completed. Our team will be happy to provide more information and special offers at the dive center.

All participants must be medically fit and in good physical health. No prior experience is required.
