SSI Advanced Adventurer Program – Zakynthos
Minimum age: 12 years

Take your diving to the next level with the SSI Advanced Adventurer program in the beautiful waters of Zakynthos. This course is perfect for certified Open Water Divers who want to gain more experience, improve their skills, and explore different types of diving—all while enjoying new underwater adventures.

The SSI Advanced Adventurer program allows you to try a variety of specialty dives without committing to full specialty courses. You will complete five adventure dives, including Deep Diving and Underwater Navigation, plus three additional dives of your choice.

During the program, you can dive deeper—up to 30 meters (age limits apply)—while building confidence and expanding your diving abilities under the direct supervision of an SSI Professional.

Course Structure

The program is designed to be flexible and enjoyable, with a strong focus on in-water training. You will complete digital learning and briefings before each dive, with no classroom sessions or exams—just practical knowledge reviews and real diving experience.

Requirements

To enroll in the SSI Advanced Adventurer program, you must:

Be at least 12 years old
Be certified as an Open Water Diver (SSI or equivalent)
Be in good physical health

Divers aged 12–14 will earn the SSI Junior Advanced Adventurer certification.

Duration

The course typically takes 2 days to complete.

Continue Your Adventure

After completing the Advanced Adventurer program, you can continue your training with SSI Specialty courses or progress to the SSI Stress & Rescue Diver program. The adventure dives you complete may also count toward full SSI Specialty certifications.
